New year, new(ish) me and Collective Dairy yogurts are going to kick start it ALL. Does it work? YEP. I’ve decided to start my morning with yogurt 3 days a week. (The healthy bit the fruits and flax seeds added!)

I suffer from a bad tummy (being gluten free is fun….as always) and often find a yogurt soothes my suffering tum. Packed with live cultures, natural ingredients and “no nasties” The Collective’s yogurts have always been delicious and extremely comforting to my stomach.

My favourite yogurt flavours are: Russian fudge (a kiwi style classic fudge which is melt in your mouth and very moreish) and raspberry (sharp, tangy and creamy until you reach the juicy raspberries at the bottom – swirl them around before eating is my advice…..mmmm). I tried mango too – it was a bit sweet for me but my fiance enjoyed that one! These come in big tub size for your fridge and small tub size for your lunch! They are in the Boots Meal Deal too FYI!

I also tried Kefir (pronounced Keh-Fear) for the first time. This is made by fermenting milk with live cultures – this one boasts 13 different strains! Supposedly it is great for your gut so I dug in. I would recommend having this product alongside fruits such as raspberries and blueberries and perhaps a touch of flax seeds…without this the product has quite a sour taste as you would imagine. Gluten free granola would be a great shout!

My absolute favourite item was the Pro-Yo which is a high protein yogurt…I tried the strawberry and coconut ones! MMMMMM. This comes in a handy little pouch for your gym bag containing the same creamy texture as a full sized pot.  I enjoyed it before a run one time and before a dance class another – with more protein than 2 eggs and hardly any sugar, this was a great healthy boost before a workout. I will definitely be having more of these to spur me on in the future!

I must admit my main attraction to The Collective yogurts began when I saw they had ditched their mini yogurt spoons in aid of reducing plastic! Ditching the lid and the spoon, it turns out, saves over 35 tonnes of plastic per year! The tub is also now widely recyclable! BONUS.

Three new year resolutions completed already – look after my gut, eat healthy and save the environment!
