Last week Difatti kindly gifted me some of their tortelloni to try. I am already a big fan of their gnocci and couldn't wait to delve into these gluten free treats!
Difatti make vegan, veggie and gluten free pasta from corn and rice flour, making sure the great taste of pasta is still authentic and tasty despite the lack of gluten!
I absolutely loved that these tortelloni had some interesting flavours - ricotta and spinach, and my favourite, slow braised beef and grana padano cheese. Quick and easy to cook, simply boil for 5 minutes and they are ready to tuck into. We enjoyed them so much that we polished off both packets in the sun for lunch! The flavours were divine. The ricotta and spinach was so creamy and complimented the pasta nicely. The beef and cheese flavour was an absolute treat though - such rich beautiful flavours.
As a half Italian who appreciates good food (perhaps a little too much, I did tuck into both packs!) I appreciate the use of fresh simple ingredients to give great flavours and would 100% recommend these to all.
