So as you can see above, I have admit this was a very chocolatey month…but what is Christmas for eh?
First up…the Free From Chocolate Logs. Loved these beautiful little cake bars with a dusting of sugar. A perfect little treat and how cute is their Christmas packaging.
£2.50.
Next up…Devon Fire snack Chorizo from Good Game. This is a classic Chorizo style cured sausage made in a Hog skin. I decided to fry mine up with some brussel sprouts for a Christmas twist. Really tasty! I found these at the Christmas market…which was amazing this year, all local produce and shops!
£2 per snack.
Gail’s gluten free sourdough was amazing. My godfather found this in a bakery in London – it’s a shame I can’t find it down here because it is probably the best bread I’ve tasted to date. The website states: “the loaf is made with three gluten-free flours, including brown teff, brown rice and chickpea flour. It is baked using wild yeast and a little bit of rapseed oil, in our gluten-free bakery. Many gluten-free loaves contain eggs or dairy, but we wanted to avoid this and keep the loaf suitable for vegans in doing so. The bread will keep for two days, at least, and we think it is best served toasted.” They are right – it is amazing toasted!
Gifted.
Next up, Morrison’s Selection Box was gifted to me instead of an advent calendar. The coins were my favourite and this was really good for gluten free chocolate. Usually gluten free chocolate is so tasteless!!
£2.75 – great value I’d say.
Daim’s frozen almond cake! Sensational. Love it! An almond sensation. You have to try it! They also do a toblerone one which is insane – my favourite pudding ever!
£3 around about – dependant on where you buy it.
