Just look at that. So beautiful. And trust me…they don’t just look great in your bathroom. They feel sensational.

I have been converted. This is my new skin care routine now. In love.

Nura is a natural and organic local skincare provider which uses plant derived ingredients. Nura’s website states: “Nura’s  products DO NOT CONTAIN – Palm Oil & SLS, Parabans, Synthetic Silicones and are Gluten free.  Ingredients are ethically sourced, vegetarian and from sustainable resources.” Fantastic! So great for us being gluten free! Julia herself has been a Coeliac for 3 years now and when formulating the products she wanted to make sure she didn’t get a nasty reaction from skincare as a result. It’s so important to put safe products on your face and not many brands will give ingredients such as wheatgerm, barley and wheat dextrose a thought! So assuring to see the little gluten free logo on the back!

My skin care routine is now as follows:

*Please note these items were gifted to me.

Morning

I use the Skin Radiance Cleansing Cream to start with a muslin cloth. This cleanser is so light and moisturising. You can really feel the benefits of having natural ingredients with this one. It’s not tough on your skin and the white willow extract helps remove dead skin cells for a fresh face look in the morning. Radiant and ready to face the day.

Next up I use the HydraIntense Vitamin C Serum. This is my favourite product. My skin feels fantastic after using this. Just like a pampered princess. It’s so light and hydrating. I am told the Vitamin C is great for anti-ageing, the Calendula Flower Oil is fab for restoring dry skin and the Rosehip is great for healing damaged skin. The serum also includes a blend of these:

“In an uplifting floral Essential Oil blend:

  1. Rosewood essential oil has a beautiful, deep scent – It balances the emotions, this oil is most effective to stimulate the cells and regenerate tissue, therefore aiding rejuvenation of the skin

  2. Frankincense essential oils has a wonderful uplifting and fresh scent, helps deepen breathing,  relieves anxiety and excellent at rejuvenating the skin.

  3. Rose Geranium Essential Oils is a great skin balancer with an uplifting aroma, especially helpful with relaxation and low moods. Helps regulate oil production, tighten and improve skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.” – taken from Nura’s website.

It smells insanely amazing and feels far more expensive than it actually is at £18. This one is apparently a best seller and I can 100% see why!

Next, once the above has dried. I put on the Balancing Vitamin B3 Face Cream with grapeseed oil, chia seed oil and shea butter. This face cream is designed to reduce inflammation and improve skin tone for a healthy glow. I will just mention that Avena Sativa Extract is used here. Although this may ring alarm bells for some, I am told that the process of extraction is via a CO2 distillation (no oat flour used!). This extraction is to get the richest and purest form of oat oil and is completed in pharmaceutical conditions so unlikely to result in cross contamination.  I would recommend that you test a little on your arm (if you are worried) before putting it on your face to test for a reaction. I always recommend doing this with new products just to be safe. I was absolutely fine with this face cream and really enjoyed using it. The shea butter made it super soft on the skin too! I loved how willing Julia was to help with all my questions around the ingredients – it is so comforting that she really knows her stuff and cares!

To finish, I used the Pure Nutri Lip Balm which is an anti-oxidant hydrating lip balm. Enriched with Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter this is suuuuper moisturising and has stopped me from getting chapped lips. I also found out (from Nura’s insta posts ~ @nura_skincare_) that this lip balm is great for hayfever. Simply place a little on your finger and pop some around your nostrils and in the corners of your eyes to stop pesky pollon getting in. Life changer.

Night

I start with the Skin Radiance Cleansing Cream again. This removes make up too so it’s great for finishing the day with! The Calendula Flower Oil really helps to calm irritated skin which usually comes after a day of environmental pollution and hard work. I massage it in to give myself a little pamper.

Next up I use the HydraIntense Vitamin C Serum. again. Its so so lovely! Massage it round your face and neck just making sure you avoid the eye lid area.

Then I finish with the Pure Nutri Lip Balm and the Nourishing Renewal Night Oil Complex. Now this is divine! It’s like scooping honey on your face. So smooth, you can feel it absorbing into your skin and doing good straight away. This is more of a gel serum, so fantastic for soaking into skin overnight (when our body repairs our skin). This one contains CO-ENZYME Q10 – a powerful antioxidant used in anti-ageing. I’m only 27 but you definitely need to take care of your skin from a young age so this is great! It’s recommended that you use this over face, neck, chest and back of hands. It’s such a nice treat for the back of your hands (especially at the moment with all the drying hand sanitiser we are all using).

How to order:

Absolutely love love love these products and would recommend to anyone. Treat yourself!!!
