This egg was very kindly donated to me by a friend, the lovely Julia, to taste test. Who would turn down that offer? So…this ad is not sponsored in any way!

Moo Free are an ethical family owned UK manufacturer and only use natural high quality ingredients. No GM either!

Their cocoa is imported from Dominican Republic.

Researching the brand I found that they state they send zero waste to landfill!!!!!!!!!!Absolutely amazing!!! Would love to know how they do this?! They also have an equal pay policy and work with several charities to provide employment for those finding it hard to. Stellar work here!

Right enough about this amazing ethos….lets go to this egg!

This is a milk chocolate alternative Easter egg free from dairy, gluten and soya. It is made from a combination of cocoa, sugar, rice and vegan friendly toffee.

I bite into it and immediately notice that it is dairy free…but not in a bad way. You really note the rich chocolate (which is always good) and the toffee (which I love). It definitely has a bit of crunch to it which I like! The rich flavour also makes me stay on my best behaviour, having a bite every now and then as opposed to polishing off the whole egg (as I have done before on many occasion).

Would I recommend this? YES. Unless you really like a milk chocolate flavour because otherwise a dairy egg is for you.
